Thelma is a patient who have been treated with Urgocell Start dressing and K.Two bandages in February 2009.
"Dear Urgo,
I just wanted to write a letter to express my greetings about how your products have improved my life. I have had leg ulcers on both my legs for over two years. These had been treated with a variety of dressings and bandages. However they were not improving and affected my whole life. I was in constant pain and my wounds leaked so badly that I was having to wash my bed linen daily. I was too embarassed to go out because of the smell of my leg ulcers and I couldn't wear decent shoes. I had hoped to go on a holiday with a friend but because my legs were so wet I was unable to do so. I started being treated with Urgocell Start dressing and K Two bandages in Feb 2009. My leg improved straight away and my dressing changes were initially reduced to twice a week and then weekly. I could wear shoes again and was able to enjoy shopping trips with my friend. By the end of march my right leg was completely healed. Six weeks later in May my left leg was also healed. I am so grateful to URGO as I can now get on with my life. I am planning to go on holiday with my friend in the near future.
